The newly reimagined Scuderia Ferrari HP mobile app, powered by IBM watsonx, offers fans unprecedented access to insights, storytelling, and interactive experiences.
At its core is the all-new Race Centre—a digital pit wall for Ferrari fans worldwide. From live stats to in-depth driver analytics, it features AI-generated race summaries produced within hours of the chequered flag, crafted using large language models via watsonx, including IBM’s proprietary Granite model. These summaries provide rich context, analysis, and even post-race reflections from the drivers.
“We’re creating a new blueprint for digital fan engagement,” says Jonathan Adashek, IBM’s SVP of Marketing and Communications. “The same technologies transforming customer experiences for IBM clients are now helping Ferrari redefine how it connects with its global fanbase.”
Fans can also get more involved than ever before. With the new Fan Messages feature, users can send their thoughts directly to the team—with the chance to be featured on official Ferrari channels. Plus, interactive polls let fans vote on everything from race strategies to favourite Grand Prix moments.
“This app is about bringing our fans closer to the very heart of Ferrari’s racing world,” said Lorenzo Giorgetti, Ferrari’s Chief Racing Revenue Officer. “With IBM’s AI technology, we’re creating an experience that lives up to the Ferrari legacy.”
But it’s more than just a race-day companion. Designed for Ferrari’s global Tifosi—nearly 400 million strong—the app delivers year-round content, from daily updates to exclusive behind-the-scenes stories, keeping the spirit of the paddock alive every day of the year.
Looking ahead, Ferrari and IBM have announced ongoing updates throughout the 2025 season, promising deeper AI integration and even more interactive features. What began as a mobile app is evolving into a fully connected digital ecosystem—where fans don’t just follow the team, they become a part of it.
